Where did the summer go?

Did it go by fast for you too? I’m not sure I’ve ever had a summer go by so quickly in my life. And now here we are on the cusp of the 2010 vintage. Growers and wineries I’ve spoken with seem to be optimistic about this vintage, although the spring was a little on the tough side being so wet and all. We’ll have a special podcast dedicated to the vintage and hear what people are saying about how this year is shaping up.

Speaking of podcasts, we will be getting the gang together this week to get some new ones recorded for you to listen to soon. I’ve had lots of great feedback from people who have been listening. Please send me your comments about the podcasts – negative or positive. What do you want to hear coming from Wine Country BC this year? Leave a comment here or email me with your thoughts about anything to do with wine in BC. Love it? Hate it? Drink it? Bring it!

More photos coming, lots of new podcasts, and that special podcast documentary (maybe a series) on sustainability all coming up this year in Wine Country BC, Season 2. Until then, check out my photos of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes going through veraison on a recent trip to Painted Rock to try their new Chardonnay. Cheers!
